Terms of service

These terms of service govern your use of the Zhour store — browsing the catalogue, placing an order, paying for it, and the shipping and returns that follow. Please read them before you buy.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By browsing Zhour, creating an account or placing an order you accept these terms, together with our privacy policy and the shipping and returns policies linked from every page. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the store.

2. Eligibility and your account

You can browse and buy as a guest. If you create an account, you agree to:

  • give accurate contact, billing and delivery details, and keep them up to date;
  • keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else is using it;
  • be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, or shop with a parent or guardian.

We may suspend or close an account that is used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

3. Orders and pricing

An order is an offer to buy. The contract between us is formed when we send the confirmation email; until then we may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, was mispriced, or the payment cannot be verified. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.

Prices are shown in the store currency and include any taxes stated at checkout; shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address. We describe and photograph products as accurately as we can, but small differences in colour, finish and dimensions are normal.

4. Payment

We accept the payment methods offered at checkout, including card payments handled by our payment provider and cash on delivery where it is available. We never store your full card details. If a payment fails or is reversed after dispatch, we may recover the amount due and hold further orders until it is settled.

5. Shipping and delivery

Delivery windows shown at checkout are estimates rather than guarantees, and they run from dispatch, not from the moment you order. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, keep the packaging and contact us so we can put it right — our shipping page has the current options, costs and cut-off times.

6. Returns and refunds

If an item reaches you damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue, and we will arrange a free replacement or a full refund. Because we cannot resell used goods, we do not accept general change-of-mind returns; see our returns policy for the detail.

7. Acceptable use

When you use Zhour, please do not:

  • place fraudulent orders, or pay with a method you are not authorised to use;
  • copy, scrape or republish our catalogue, prices or photography for commercial use;
  • attempt to break into, overload or probe the store, its API or another shopper's account;
  • post reviews, questions or images that are false, abusive, unlawful or not your own.

8. Intellectual property

The Zhour name, logo, site design, text and photography belong to us or to our suppliers and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may use them to shop and to share links to products; any other copying or commercial use needs our written permission. Anything you post — a review, a question, a photo — stays yours, and you give us permission to display it in the store.

9. Limitation of liability

We are responsible for supplying the goods you ordered and for our own negligence, and nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Beyond that, and so far as the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the store changes. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to it, and continuing to use the store after an update means you accept the current version.

11. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of Lebanon, and the courts of Beirut have jurisdiction — without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.

12. Contact us
